All content, branding, design, and technology that make up Plan the Party — including but not limited to logos, text, graphics, and software — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
The event plans and task lists generated for you are yours to use for your own personal, non-commercial event planning. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense them without our written consent.
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Plan the Party, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
Plan the Party is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plan the Party and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, revenue, or profits — arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Plan the Party integrates with third-party services including Clerk (authentication), OpenAI (AI generation), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), and Sentry (error monitoring). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to Plan the Party at our discretion if:
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where changes are material, we will endeavour to notify you via email or a notice within the service. Continued use of Plan the Party after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
